JEJUNO-JENUNAL INTUSSUSCEPTION:A PRESENTATION OF PEUTZ JEGHERS SYNDROME

 

A 34 year female presented with the right hypochondrium pain for 36 hrs.She is a known case of PEUTZ JEGHERS Syndrome.She underwent Exploratory Laparotomy with jejunal resection and JEJUNO-JENUNAL anastomosis for INTUSSUSCEPTION 13 years back.Again she underwent Exploratory Laparotomy and ileotransverse anastomosis for ileocolic Intussusception 5 years back.She underwent Exploratory Laparotomy and jejunal perforation repair 2 years back.With all the complain she presented in the ER.CECT was done and diagnosis of jejunojejunal Intussusception was seen with early ischaemic changes in bowel 

Patient was shifted to OR and Exploratory laparotomy was done and Intussusception was reduced.There was extensive edema of bowel.Bowel resection was not done.
