Lung Autotransplantation is the process involving transplantation of patients own lung when part or lobe of lung is diseased.
When there is carcinoma in main bronchus ,all the lungs should not be resected .Only the diseased portion of the lung can be resected and remaining lobe can be anastomosed to the bronchus.
